You can also make ginger tea by boiling one piece of ginger in one cup of water for 5 minutes. Strain it afterwards and drink it.
  1. Fenugreek – take one tablespoon of fenugreek seeds, put it in one cup of water and prepare tea. It is drunk in the morning and evening together with ginger juice and honey.
  1. Coffee – caffeine works as a bronchodilator, spreads the alveoli and allows you to breathe in deeply.
  1. Black garlic – it has anti-inflammatory powers and its excellent for stopping the coughing. The sulphur in garlic reduces the inflammation of the lungs. You can eat it rough or as a tea.
  1. White garlic – this natural antibiotic cleanses the lungs from the thick mucus that appears in case of asthma. Cook 15 cloves of garlic and one and a half cup of milk. Drink it once a day. You can also prepare garlic tea by boiling 4 cloves of garlic for 5 minutes in a kettle. Then drink the tea. You can chop and mix garlic with honey as well. Take one teaspoon every day. It is excellent in cases of bronchitis and bronchial asthma. Make a salve from garlic, honey and horseradish. Warm 100 grams of chopped white garlic, 100 grams of chopped horseradish, 600 grams of honey and 150 grams of butter. When the ingredients melt, put it in a glass jar and take one tablespoon one hour before a meal. Continue the treatment for 2 months, and then pause for one month.
  1. Figs – figs will improve your breathing and overall health since they reduce the thickness of the mucus. Put 3 dry figs in water and leave them overnight. In the morning, eat the soft figs. Then, drink the water. This remedy can be used for longer period.
  1. Honey – this is the oldest remedy for asthma. Inhaling honey oils eases the breathing. You can consume honey in the morning together with a glass of warm water. You may add powdered ginger, apple cider vinegar or cinnamon.
  1. Hot peppers, chilli peppers – hot peppers open the closed airways. Capsaicin in hot peppers increases the heat and has anti-inflammatory effect.
  1. Peppermint extract – it is used for inhalation. In chlorinated water, put a few drops of peppermint oil and inhale. It opens the airways and reduces the thickness of the mucus in cases of asthma and bronchitis.
  1. Parsley – make parsley tea. It reduces the pain in the chest and removes the feeling of inability to breathe.
  1. Hop – one tablespoon of hop cooked with 100 grams of wine and 100 grams of water, is an excellent remedy for asthma.
  1. Pine needle syrup – put 40 pine needles in a jar, and cover them with one kilogram of honey. You may use sugar if you want. Leave it covered for 40 days in a hot place, then stain it, and take one tablespoon of syrup 3 times a day before meals.
  1. Plantago – mix 100 grams of Plantago juice with 1 kilogram of honey and 50 grams of horseradish. Take one tablespoon of the remedy after meals for 40 days. This will reduce the coughing.
  1. Quince – chop 5 grams of dried quince leaves and cover them with one cup of boiling water. Leave it covered for an hour, strain it and consume 2 tablespoons 4 times a day.
