However for oily skin use toned milk while for dry flaky skin full cream milk works well.

Rubbing a paste made of honey nutmeg and cinnamon powders and rinsing after half an hour alleviates acne, skin blemishes and scars.

Combining powdered lentil and nutmeg powder act as an effective do it yourself scrub, to eliminate excessive oiliness, removing dead skin cells and opens up clogged pores making it easier for the breathe appearing young and fresh.

For a gorgeous looking skin make a face mask by combining one table spoon of fullers earth, two drops each of mustard oil and rose water, two orange slices, two saffron petals and a pinch of nutmeg powder. Extract juice from the orange slices and combine the rest of the ingredients to form a smooth paste. Massage gently on the face and rinse after 15 minutes.

Considerations

Owing to its strong astringent properties, nutmeg may not be suitable for people with sensitive skin type. Therefore it is imperative to take a skin test before trying out any of the beauty products containing nutmeg or at home skin care remedies using this volatile spice.
